New Ways for Families® Counselor Training is for licensed counselors and therapists to learn a new method for high-conflict family law cases that can be utilized in your practice, agency, or court. It is a structured parenting skills method that focuses on teaching parents 4 Big Skills™ to:
- help them make BIG decisions
- reduce conflict
- contain conflict
- avoid alienation
- reduce alienation
- reduce refusal and resistance
- reduce violence
- reduce harm to the children
This innovative method was developed specifically for high-conflict cases but can be used in any case for any family. It is designed to save courts time, to save parents money, and to protect children as their families re-organize in new ways. It is a positive option for family law professionals who are ready for helping families in a new way that gives parents a chance to change before big decisions are made.
This training is for: licensed counselors and therapists (attorneys, parenting coordinators, others are welcome) to use in your practice, in a court or agency program, or by referral from HCI's Provider List.
This training is for those who want to become licensed (not certified)

Minimum Participants
**A minimum of 6 participants is required. If the minimum is not met, the class will be canceled with a 2-week notification. You will automatically be placed in the next scheduled class and notified to confirm if that date suits.

2. You will need to purchase New Ways for Families®: Professional Guidebook: Digital Version (E-Book) AND New Ways for Families® Parent Workbook: Digital Version.
3. Hard copies of the guidebook and workbook can be purchased on Amazon in your country or wherever you buy books.
